International Yoga Day

HISTORY OF INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

The original intent of yoga was to help people develop discernment, self-control, mindfulness, and higher consciousness. In ancient literature, the word Yoga is also mentioned in the Rig Veda. On June 21, 2015, the first International Yoga Day was observed.
